Who We Are

Seize Control is a seizure tracking and support product in the FND Connect family. It is designed to help people keep a clearer personal record for review, reflection and care conversations.

For privacy queries, data access requests, correction requests or deletion requests, contact the Seize Control support team using the contact details shown inside the app.

Information We Collect

Account details, including email address and optional profile information.
Health and symptom information you choose to enter, including seizure logs, symptoms, medication schedules, cycle context, wearable imports and notes.
Technical information needed to keep the app secure, such as session cookies, device type, browser information and audit timestamps.
Optional research contribution data, such as co-occurring conditions and demographic ranges, only when you choose to provide it.

How We Use Your Information

To provide your personal seizure record, dashboards, forecasts, medication support and reports.
To help you prepare clearer summaries for appointments or support conversations.
To improve safety, reliability and accessibility of the service.
To create anonymised, aggregated community insights only where this can be done without identifying individuals.
To respect your consent choices for AI features, research contribution and communications.

AI and Pattern Analysis

Some features can summarise your saved information or look for patterns in your own records. These features are support tools and may be wrong or incomplete. They should not be treated as diagnosis, treatment advice or emergency guidance.

Where an external model provider is used, we aim to send the minimum information needed for the requested feature and do not use your personal health record to train general AI models.

Research Contribution

The research layer is optional. If you opt in, Seize Control may use anonymised and aggregated responses to understand patterns reported by the FND and seizure community.

We do not present community insights as clinical proof, diagnosis or personalised medical advice. We label them as community findings and explain their limits.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your account data while your account is active or while needed to provide the service.
You can request a copy, correction or deletion of your account data.
Deleted information may remain in backups for a limited period before permanent removal.
Aggregated research outputs that no longer identify you may not be reversible to your account.

Access the information held about you.
Correct inaccurate information.
Export your data where available.
Withdraw optional research or AI consent.
Request deletion of your account and personal data.
Raise a privacy concern with the support team.
