Building a safer community picture of seizures, FND and what travels alongside them.

Seize Control can collect optional, anonymised and aggregated research context so FND Connect can describe community patterns responsibly, without turning those patterns into diagnosis or medical advice.

Opted-in contributors 2

Community findings appear only when enough people have opted in to make aggregation meaningful.

What the research layer is for

People often arrive with more than one diagnosis, overlapping symptoms, medication context and daily-life triggers. The research layer helps organise that picture at community level while keeping personal records private.

OptionalPeople choose whether to contribute.
AnonymisedOutputs are aggregated and not shown as individual records.
CarefulInsights are labelled as community findings, not clinical proof.

Not enough opted-in responses yet

We will show aggregate findings once there is enough participation to avoid over-reading small numbers.

What people can contribute

Neurological and Neuro-otological Conditions that can overlap with seizure-like episodes, migraine, balance or sensory symptoms.
Autonomic and Connective Tissue Commonly reported autonomic, fainting and hypermobility-related conditions.
Pain and Fatigue Syndromes Long-term pain, fatigue and sensory-load conditions that can affect daily capacity.
Mental Health and Trauma Optional. Only share what you are comfortable sharing.
Neurodevelopmental Neurodivergent profiles that may influence sensory load, fatigue or routine.
Important boundary: The research layer is not a clinical study protocol by itself, and it should not be described as NHS, university or clinician-endorsed unless a formal partnership and consent pathway is in place.
